Derek Dickinson Exhibition:

Walking into the Derek Dickinson Exhibition. reflects an autobiographical approach. the work is a two-room installation. the space is dark some text-based work on the wall lit up. The text is of Derek’s poems and confessions about his life. They are a4 sized and handwritten framed. Walking into the other room you are greeted by a film. the film is a large scaled 3 screen film. firstly, it started of dark with audio. the audio is of Derek’s voice saying one of his poems (I am not man not god), whilst listing the film started to lighten until you see a dancer preforming. the dancer is on the left and right screen and in the middle, you see Derek’s face.
