MNEMOPHOBIA 2018 is a five-piece installation demanding space and the viewers’ attention.  The medium of this work is collaged A3 paper which is reflective of alerted memories due to its fragmented photographs strips.

MIRROR: using one family artefact (Carols Mirror) I was able to engage the audience in a form of participation. With many works being visible from the mirrors perspective the audience can actively engage in altering one’s own perception on the work altering their own memory and experience through the act of seeing.  The mirror is also their as a small self-portrait to which I have been feeling as I have been reflecting on my precious memories that I have left of Carol Ann Collins.  The works laid out in order of personal preference exuberates narrative to the audience, narrative that I would have preferred to further through the use of a new built artist room, furthermore the room would have contained museum cabinets containing personal artefacts (photographic prints, letters, paintings, jewellery and clothing) These artefacts would have furthered Carols story.
