Carol and RED door perfume advert is a small documentary telling the narrative of the life and relationship of Carol and her perfume. The video piece uses photographs, video and text about this relationship and her life. I use the Chanel Marilyn Monroe Advertisement as a reference. Chanel No5 advert is about the relationship between Marilyn Monroe and her No5. Chanel uses the famous saying ‘"a few drops of Chanel No. 5" the reason why I used Marilyn Monroe was that when Carol passed I was given a book called Norma Jean: life and death of Marilyn Monroe written by Fred Lawrence Guiles (Author). With this book and the Chanel Marilyn Monroe advertisement I was trying to create link them together and to give my own work a greater understanding.
