Artist, Collector and Archivist.
Kieran is an artist, collector and archivist that likes to uncover the overlooked family photograph. Through his practice he explores the significant value of the family photographic album and how it is key to understanding domestic identity.
Currently he is researching the significant value of the family photographic album, how it holds exclusive information about ourselves and how domestic photography can provoke thinking about personal history on a much deeper level. By positioning his theoretical research around the subject of the family album, Kieran attempts to understand how the family photographic album is key to understanding identity and domestic identity. By doing this it provokes a new avenue of theoretical and methodological approaches to critical thinking and understandings.
